Sue is a certified DONA Birth Doula who brings insight from her 30-year career in the healthcare industry. Her path to doula work began in 2020 while volunteering as a GED tutor at Casa de Vida (a residential home supporting pregnant teenage women) when one of her students asked her to be a birth coach, Sue recognized how profoundly underserved populations could benefit from compassionate, continuous doula care.

That moment of inspiration grew into a mission. Sue saw that young mothers and families often lacked the encouragement, advocacy, and resources needed to navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with dignity and confidence. Guided by this vision, she became a certified doula and went on to co-found the DOULA CO-OP of Nevada.

Jenn brings over 15 years of experience in birthwork—specializing in Substance Abuse Disorders, bereavement, adoption & surrogacy, lactation, and education. Before stepping into the role of Executive Director at the DOULA CO-OP, she served as the lead volunteer for three years, shaping programs and supporting families with compassion and expertise.

Dr. Erin Jenkins is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for supporting the emotional and mental well-being of individuals across the lifespan, especially during pivotal life transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. She brings over two decades of healthcare experience, including a strong foundation in critical care, palliative care, and neurosurgery, which has shaped her holistic and empathetic approach to healing. Dr. Jenkins also proudly serves in the United States Air Force Reserve as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, continuing her commitment to service, leadership, and excellence in patient care both in and out of uniform.

Theresa Lemus, DNP, MBA, RN, LADC is a dedicated healthcare professional with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in public health, human services, and clinical education. She has been instrumental in advancing integrated care models that bridge primary and behavioral health services to improve patient outcomes, particularly in rural and underserved communities. A seasoned clinician, educator, and policy advocate, Theresa provides leadership in national initiatives addressing access to evidenced-based substance use and mental healthcare. She works extensively with federal agencies and nonprofit organizations to develop best practices in medication-assisted treatment and population health strategies.

Dr. Monica Riley, MD, MSJ, affectionately known as Dr. Monica, is a Doctor of Integrative Medicine with over 30 years of expertise in the Holistic Health Sciences.

This active Vassar College Alum and two-time Emmy Award-winning documentary producer and journalist continues to inspire communities to action through her activism against human trafficking and cyberbullying. A sought-after public speaker and podcast guest, Dr. Monica believes that “Self-Care IS Healthcare"™

Dr. Tracey Green is a board certified family physician who has trained and spent her career in Nevada. Dr. Tracey has a passion for the underserved and currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical Innovations at CareSource. She has also served as Chief Medical Officer for Molina Healthcare Medicaid. and as Chief Medical Officer at the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.
